If incomplete medical records are a concern, or if there is a backlog, those problems can be addressed and met in a structured manner on a regular basis.
NJPR's Discharge Summary Dictation Service provides both hospitals and physicians with a high level of professional support. Our staff of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, RHIAs, RHITs and CCSs - all highly-experienced in medical records review -- perform this service on-site to assist in record completion.
A thorough assessment of the medical record is completed prior to dictation. Each discharge summary meets JCAHO guidelines and State regulations.
The service may be contracted on a temporary or permanent basis and incorporated into the hospital's incomplete record system. NJPR can also contract directly with physicians for ongoing dictation services.
